Whampoa keng offers a variety of set meals starting from $80 for two, which comprise fish head soup and prawn paste chicken. The fried meat was moist while the tofu was alright. You can get the soup refilled.
If you love steamboats, you’re going to love this place! It’s probably the best fish head steamboat on the island.

4. Viio Gastropub Restaurant & Bar
Located in the quiet little spot along Balestier road, you can try their tasting platter for $45. For the price, you can choose 1 tapas, 1 main, and 1 pasta dish as well! Top up another 7 dollars if you want to have dessert. The food is pretty good. You’ll also find they have a great selection of alcohol and beers!

5. Chuan Yang Ji Mutton Soup Steamboat
The food at this restaurant is very good. They have a variety of dishes to choose from including cold ones like vinegar black fungus and cucumber, which we recommend you try! The fried mutton pie scene maybe your favorite part about it though–it’s truly delicious (and cheap!). As for prices, they’re reasonable enough.
