4. Explore Tanglin Halt Market
Tanglin Halt Market is the mini version of the Tanglin Halt Food Centre. Although it’s smaller, it is packed with many popular stalls, such as Jiu Ye for the best Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun, Mai Jia Fried Bee Hoon, Weiyi Laksa & Prawn Noodle, Cheng Mei Shi Lor Mee, and Tanglin Halt Original Pancake!

5. Get a Haircut at Sin Palace Hairdressing Saloon
Situated in the heart of Commonwealth Crescent since 1965, this old-school hairstyle salon is managed by the second-generation brother-sister duo. Though it looks classic, the interior has been upgraded with an airconditioner to offer a more comfortable experience.
If you want to try the traditional ear cleaning experience, this is exactly the place to go, as this might be, if not the only, among the few saloons in Singapore that offer it.
